McLellan Construction Company was founded by our current President, K. Douglas McLellan. Doug McLellan is deeply rooted in the construction industry. He grew up working for his father’s construction company. After 25 years of being in business, Doug McLellan has participated in every aspect of the building process. The majority of our work comes from referrals from satisfied customers, which is ultimately our main goal. Doug McLellan’s greatest value is his relationship with clients.

Custom Design and Building
McLellan Construction has been building custom homes in the Richmond area for over 25 years. We have completed a variety of craftsman style homes ranging from 1,200 square foot starter homes to 12,000 square foot custom luxury homes. A personal relationship is formed between the customer and McLellan Construction from the very beginning of the building process. Mr. McLellan offers 40 years of unparalleled building experience and advice to the customer. McLellan Construction is extremely devoted and committed to making sure the customers are satisfied and is proud to have many repeat customers.

McLellan Construction has always been involved in building additions and remodeling homes with previous and new customers. We have completed numerous detached garages, florida rooms, two-story additions, screen porches, and kitchen/home remodels.

McLellan Construction is also experienced in commercial construction. In 2015, McLellan Construction built a 50,000+ sq ft office warehouse in Chesterfield, Va. We have completed other commercial office warehouses around the Midlothian area that are approximately 10,000 sq ft. McLellan Construction also built a Johnny Rockets restaurant in Chesterfield, Va.
